We welcome photographers of all ages and abilities, both digital and film based. Whether you are a novice or an experienced photographer you will be welcomed into an enthusiastic and supportive environment.
We have a full programme of activities throughout Autumn, Winter and Spring. Illustrated talks are provided on a variety of topics by major suppliers to the photography trade as well as experienced photographers. Talks by members of the Society and practical evenings are interspersed with projected image or print competitions. We also provide a forum for skills improvement and advice on attaining photographic distinctions.
During the summer we have outings to various venues where events such as our Chatham Challenge and Treasure Hunt can take place. At present we are concentrating on photography in RH1 and RH2. This is in preparation for a major exhibition of our work to support our 75th anniversary in 2013.
